Barb Choit
Barb Choit is a contemporary artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her work explores practices of collecting as carried out by individuals, communities, and institutions. Her major artworks have all involved cultivating and maintaining collections of objects and images. She presents these collections in a variety of media—as photographs, installations, performances and drawings. Her recent works further explore connections between art history, advertising, and commerce.
