Kent Monkman

Kent Monkman is a Canadian artist of Cree and Irish ancestry who works with painting, film/video, performance and installation. His work stages critical conversations regarding colonization, religion and the representation of subjectivity. Kent Monkman has exhibited widely across North America, Europe and the United States. He currently lives and works in Toronto, O.N.
